Behind-the-scenes tour

VENTURE OFF the beautifully manicured paths and see what life is like behind-the-scenes at a world class botanical garden. Join us for an exclusive tour with Lotusland’s Horticultural Supervisor Terri Clay and Grounds Supervisor Junio Milanese and learn about daily horticultural operations in the Japanese Garden. Ideal for Members who who are already acquainted with the Garden, this intimate experience will provide a glimpse of how our talented horticultural staff practice sustainable plant care and conservation within a public garden setting. 

Paths may be uneven and rough so please wear appropriate footwear.

Reservations required and space is limited to 15 participants.

The Japanese Garden

The Japanese Garden is one of the great accomplishments of Lotusland. This remarkable Garden was designed with balance and peace in mind. Flawlessly pruned by master gardeners and devoted volunteers, all trained in artistic pruning techniques passed down from legendary Japanese gardeners.
