LEARN HOW TO CAPTURE BOTANICAL PRINTS on fabric with Santa Barbara fiber artist Linda Kollofski and Lotusland’s Assistant Curator Anna Bower. Together they will lead an interactive workshop using plant material gathered at Lotusland. Participants will receive instruction on the basics behind ecoprinting including: fabric selection and preparation, appropriate plants, and bundling tips. All materials are included in the workshop fee and participants will go home with one silk table runner and one silk scarf of their own design, each prepared using a different mordanting technique. The workshop will culminate with a discussion of the results from the day and a showcase of other ecoprinted works from the instructors
